Lee-Enfield

From Medal of Honor

The Lee-Enfield is a bolt-action rifle adopted by Britain in 1907 and used until the 1960s. Based partially on the previous Lee-Metford rifle, the Enfield combines a Lee-style action with a type of rifling designed at the Enfield arms factory. The Enfield uses the .303 British round,

Unlike other contemporary bolt-action rifles, the Enfield had a 10-round detachable box magazine, even though the magazine was only detached for cleaning. It's bolt could also be cycled very fast allowing the firer to fire off a volley of rounds quicker than other bolt-action rifles.

The Lee-Enfield is one of the most common bolt-action rifles ever made, as they were produced and used in many British colonies and territories. Even today, one can find Enfields being manufactured in places like India and in the hands of shepherds in former colonies like Iraq.

The Lee-Enfield is Britain's primary rifle in Spearhead. It has a 10-round magazine that gives you a lot more firepower than the other bolt-action rifles, such as the Mosin-Nagant. Reloading is quick; the player quickly inserts two five-round stripper clips every time you reload. It can kill a target with one torso or headshot, making it a very deadly weapon. It's only fault is that it lacks the quick bolt that the real life one has, but that isn't a major problem.

In Breakthrough, it also serves as Britain's sniper rifle. The only difference between it and the regular rifle is that it looks slightly different and that it reloads by inserting an new magazine, much like the G43 and SVT-40.
