SVT-40
From Medal of Honor
The SVT-40 is a semi-automatic rifle used by the Soviet Union during World War II. Based upon the similar SVT-38, the SVT-40 is a gas-operated weapon that uses a 10-round magazine. Because Soviet conscripts weren't used to preventative maintenance, the SVT-40 was issued to NCOs and well-trained troops, such as the Russian sea infantry, that knew how to take care of it. Some SVT-40s were equipped with scopes and used as sniper rifles, even though their performance wasn't as satisfactory as the scoped Mosin-Nagant, mainly because of poor first-shot accuracy.
After the war, the SVT-40 was quickly retired and sent to pro-Soviet movements around the world, such as Cuba.

The SVT-40 is the Russian's sniper rifle. It uses a 10-round box magazine that can be reloaded anytime. However, despite it being semi-automatic, it's can't fire as fast as you can click the fire key. It has a noticeable delay between shots. Notably, its recoil is much heavier than other sniper rifles throughout Allied Assault.
Despite that, it has great accuracy and good power, being able to down a target with two torso shots or one headshot.
