The Vickers-Berthier is a light machine gun designed by the firm Vickers to become Britain's new light machine gun. Despite beign adopted by the Indian Army, the Vickers-Berthier was rejected at the last moment when the British found the Czech vz. 26 and requested that it be modified to fire the rimmed .303 British round.

In Breakthrough, the Vickers-Berthier is Britain's support gun. It Can kill an enemy with few shots, making it a very powerful weapon. However, it's recoil is large, so burst fire to compensate for it, especially if you're trying to aim at a target that's at medium or above range. The Berthier can be found at the end of the airfield raid in single player mode.
